Leeds Castle - A Castle to Call Our Own

The celebrated London landmark blends 900 years of history with 500 acres of English countryside. Built by the King of England Edward I in 1278, Leeds Castle has been a royal residence for six medieval Queens of England including Catherine of Aragon, the first of Henry VIII's six wives.

The last private owner of the castle was Lady Baillie, an Anglo-American Heiress who acquired the castle in 1926, restoring it to its original state.  With a passion for entertaining and a love of the cinema her guest list during the 1930's included the film stars Douglas Fairbanks senior and junior, Charlie Chaplin, Robert Taylor, and James Stewart. In 1974, just before her death, Lady Baillie founded The Leeds Castle Foundation to preserve and protect the castle. More recently, the Foundation updated the castle suites to give them a luxury boutique feel.

The castle offers a wide variety of activities for the entire family. From lush private gardens to an aviary with exotic birds and falcons, we will experience all that the grounds have to offer. For sport we will have our own Olympic competitions with croquet on the castle lawn or a cricket match against the local Leeds and Broomfield Cricket Club.

Our Fourth Annual Cuvée Gala promises to be not only extraordinary, but one which will genuinely provide a once in a lifetime experience. We look forward to celebrating this International event with you at the magnificent Leeds Castle of Kent, England.
